My Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

Check back often to see some of the hottest wedding photography in Arizona. Especially any weddings shot between May - September, well you know it's going to be hot! For those of you who don't know me, I am Jasmine...Jazzy to my friends. If you are a fan or a frequent blog stalker, welcome back! I studied photography during high school and college and interned with some of the best photographers in the Bay Area who are conveniently my family members. I take a fun, romantic and candid approach to photography.
I love couples who let me photograph them in cotton fields, train tracks and orchards. Yeah...I'm not your parents photographer! Contact me to let me photograph your special day and we'll play, laugh and together we'll take some of the best photographs of your life!

Now for cute anecdotal information about my personal life...I married my best friend in March and we have an extremely well behaved two year old (this is sarcasm...yet another service I specialize in) named Caden. Be sure to bookmark the blog and don't be a stranger.

David & Kristen

Yes, I know I say it all the time…”this was my favorite wedding!”  And truly, I mean it each and every time because I fall in love with my bride & groom and am inspired by their love.  But this fall, I was honored to witness a very special wedding between two amazing people.  Luckily for me, it was lightly raining that day…so it was easy to blame the soft rain on the drops that were spotted rolling down my cheeks.
Kristen found me on The Knot and we instantly hit it off during our first conversation.  Even then…I knew I was going to witness something special.  Although she and her family live in California, her parents own a beautiful patch of land here in Arizona.  Drew and I drove four hours to get there and boy was it ever worth it!  Kristen had always dreamt of getting married on the rural and rustic family property and her groom David and her dad made that dream come true.  They brought in generators and dad even built the gorgeous Gazebo.  This was truly a labor of love.  The bridesmaids  lovingly picked out many of the vintage plates & decorative pieces by scouring antique stores in Southern California.  They say a beautiful event is in the details…and this wedding was living proof of that!
The bride looked exquisite in her retro inspired gown from Anthropologie.  Their darling daughter Hollyn was a big part of the festivity and practically stole the show…she is as beautiful and kind as her mother.  The guests who all drove up from Ontario, California didn’t seem to mind a little rain…there was merriment in the air.  And when the Mariachi’s started playing and the groom’s parents began to sing a beautiful Spanish ballad to honor the bride & groom all of us knew we were in the presence of great love.  Kristen, David and Hollyn thank you so much for allowing my husband and I to capture your love…it was an unforgettable time.

Tessa & Ken’s Stonebridge Manor wedding

Photographing the love between Tessa & Ken was an artist’s dream. Tessa is such a pure, natural beauty… and telling by the look in Ken’s eye he knows it. Their wedding was at the picturesque Stonebridge Manor in Mesa, Arizona – The perfect backdrop for any princess’s dream wedding, with every detail capturing the romance of the evening.  I loved everything about this wedding and the reception was a blast. I even learned some new dance moves from Ken’s dad. Thanks so much Tessa for being such a doll and letting us be a part of your beautiful vintage wedding!
